The highly anticipated College Football 26 by EA is on its way to dominate households across the country. With the launch of the game comes new player ratings. The Miami Hurricanes have a player — OT Francis Mauigoa — included in the top 10 highest rated players in the game. Mauigoa is the highest rated player from the ACC behind Peter Woods and is one of three players for the Hurricanes that is above a 90 overall.

Mauigoa is a foundational piece for the Miami Hurricanes and has turned into one of the ACC's top offensive linemen. He was ranked as a five-star recruit, No. 8 in the nation by 247Sports, and earned the nation’s top offensive tackle designation before committing to Miami in July 2022.

As a true freshman in 2023, Mauigoa started all 13 games at right tackle and earned Freshman All‑ACC honors, anchoring a line that landed on the Joe Moore Award midseason watch list. PFF graded him a 71.8 on run blocking and named him a First-Team Freshman All-American.

He continued that dominance into his sophomore year, starting every contest for Miami’s No. 1 offense nationally, which averaged 43.9 points and 537 yards per game. His efforts earned him Second-Team All‑ACC status.

Projections show Mauigoa poised as a top NFL prospect in the upcoming 2026 Draft. Mock drafts project him to go as high as in the top 5 picks. Scouts note his clean sophomore season — five sacks allowed in 2023 and none in 2024, with just three penalties — and highlight his quick feet and zone-run strength.
