Keionte Scott was one of the biggest winners of the Miami Hurricanes Pro Day. With all 32 NFL teams represented, Scott showed the kind of speed and explosion that can change how scouts talk about a player in the final month before the draft.
Keionte Scott just made some money at his Pro Day
Wow. Broadcast is reporting that Miami nickel Keionte Scott ripped off an unofficial 4.25 40. Let's see what the concrete time is, but he was MOVING.

The headline number was the 40-yard dash. Scott ran an unofficial 4.25 on his first attempt, a time that would have beaten every defensive back at the NFL scouting combine. Reportedly the official time settled at 4.33 on his first run — which still puts him in rare air for the class.
Per scout in attendance, had Miami DB Keionte Scott at a 4.3 flat in the 40 at 5’11”, 193 lbs.

A reminder of what he did in the CFP (131 coverage snaps):
• 14 catches allowed on 18 targets
• 35 yds v Texas A&M (8 tgts)
• 25 yds v Ohio State (3 tgts)
• 42 yds v Ole Miss (5…
Ohio State safety Lorenzo Styles Jr. ran a 4.27 at the combine, the fastest by a safety since at least 2003, while Missouri cornerback Toriano Pride Jr. led combine cornerbacks at 4.32.
Keionte Scott posted a 44" vertical, which would've been the best at the NFL Combine for cornerbacks.

Scott is making himself some big-time 💰💰 on Monday
Scott did not do on-field testing at the combine, so Monday was always going to matter for him more than it would for some other prospects.
On top of the 40, Scott posted a 44-inch vertical, another number that would have put him at or above the top of the defensive back group from Indianapolis. For a player whose film already shows that he can play, that testing backed up what evaluators had been seeing all season.
Keionte Scott showed his ability in pads for Miami
Scott was one of Miami's best defensive playmakers in 2025, earning second-team All-ACC honors after finishing with 64 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, five sacks, two interceptions returned for touchdowns, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and five pass breakups.
The biggest question around Scott is that he is an older prospect who will turn 25 in August, but Monday's workout was a strong answer to the biggest pre-draft question about him.
The conversation now shifts from whether he belongs on Day 2 to whether he can push even higher.
