The ESPN College Gameday panel was split on Miami-Notre Dame, but Lee Corsom theSunshine Scooter, stayed true to himself.
With the Miami-ND game on Sunday, it wasn't a huge topic of conversation on GameDay this morning, but when it came time for the picks, everyone had an opinion.

Corso saltues the 'Canes in his final GameDay
It's a rare day for Lee Corso to pick against Notre Dame, but before the Scooter went to FSU (ugh), he was the pride of Jackson High School in Miami and an ol' Jackson General isn't going to go against the 'Canes in his final episode.
""Miami upsets the Irish," Corso shouted. :I don't bet against the Irish, except today.""Lee Corso
Desmond Howard spends a lot of his time in Miami these days, so it wasn't a big shock when the former Heisman winner and former Super Bowl MVP picked the Hurricanes. He likes the potential of the passing game with Carson Beck.
"I've watched Carson Beck, he seems fine, and he has some really good receivers too," Howard said.
There were a lot of CJ Carr fans on the panel
From there, a lot of the conversation shifted to Notre Dame and the Irish's new quarterback, CJ Carr. I don't see what the big deal is with him, but that's me.
Nick Saban liked the roster depth of Notre Dame and believes the Irish can go deep in the playoffs.
"I just think their roster has enough depth," Saban said. "I know they've got a new quarterback, but he's a very talented guy. I just think Notre Dame is going to be one of the top four teams this year."
Pat McAfee also spoke about Carr, and he said he's excited to watch the grandson of Lloyd Carr play for the Irish. But he's a bigger fan of Jeremiyah Love and the run game.
"I think they're running the ball though, McAfee said. "I think the run game with Jeremiyah Love all night down there in Miami is what gives them the dub.
Herbie breaks the tie and invokes Al Golden's name
With the panel tied at 2-2, it was up to Herbstreit. The former Ohio State quarterback talked about covering the last game between the two teams, which Miami won 41-8 way back in 2017. Different teams and different coaches now. Notre Dame has also made a major staff change that Herbie approves of.
"]Notre Dame] loses Al Golden, they hire Chris Ash, I think that's a great hire as a defensive coordinator. And I'm all in on CJ Carr. I think Notre Dame...tough game...but the Irish get it done."
Of course, we all know Golden. And rather than coach against his former team, Ol' orange tie decided to take the defensive coordinator job with the Cincinnati Bengals. He probably knew what was coming and wanted to get out as quickly as he could.
