The Miami Hurricanes are now heavy favorites to land safety Andre Hyppolite. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has them at 96.8% favorites to land his commitment. If that holds, Miami would add a sixth in-state commit to the 2027 class.
Miami's 2027 class is up to five commitments, and the class has an average distance of just 31.8 miles from campus. The Hurricanes are ranked No. 7 nationally and No. 1 in the ACC in the Rivals Industry team rankings.
Miami favored to land safety Andre Hyppolite
Hyppolite is a 2027 safety from North Miami Beach. Miami is the runaway favorite ahead of Minnesota, FIU, Georgia and Auburn.
As a junior in 2025, Hyppolite finished with 63 tackles and five interceptions on defense while also catching 32 passes for 405 yards and four touchdowns on offense.
Hyppolite has recently added offers from programs including Miami, Georgia, Auburn, Indiana, Minnesota, Florida and Florida State, and he has an official visit scheduled to Minnesota for May 29. So, while Miami looks like the team to beat right now, this one is not finished.
