The Miami Hurricanes now have two wide receiver commits in the 2027 cycle: Nick Lennear of Miami Carol City and Ah'Mari Stevens of Chaminade-Madonna Prep. Lennear is a top-30 national prospect in Rivals' rankings who committed on 305 Day. Stevens has been in the class for more than a year and remains a Rivals300 receiver.

Nick Lennear and Ah'Mari Stevens could be great at Miami

Rivals lists Lennear at No. 26 nationally, No. 6 at wide receiver, and No. 5 in Florida. He's listed at 6 feet, 165 pounds.

Lennear played his junior season at Miami Northwestern, and logged 20 catches for 381 yards and seven touchdowns in seven games. As a sophomore, he posted 38 catches for 657 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games.

Stevens has been committed since Jan. 13, 2025, and Rivals has him at No. 229 nationally, No. 30 at wide receiver, and No. 23 in Florida.

In the 2025 season, Stevens put up 23 receptions for 312 yards and one receiving touchdown across nine games for Chaminade-Madonna. He also logged return production, with 125 kickoff return yards and 94 punt return yards as part of his all-purpose total.

Miami's receiver room is turning over lots of production from last year. In 2025, freshman Malachi Toney led Miami with 109 catches for 1,211 yards and 10 touchdowns, while the next two highest-volume wideouts were seniors Keelan Marion (57 catches, 746 yards) and CJ Daniels (50 catches, 557 yards). That's a lot of targets and yardage walking out the door.

Going into the 2025 season, Miami had to replace a lot of production and they were able to make it work. So, with recruiting on such a roll, and the transfer portal not slowing down, the Canes should have another very productive WR room in 2026.
