Oluwasemilore Olubobola, a 2027 offensive tackle at St. Peter's Prep in New Jersey, is closing in on a college decision with Miami and Notre Dame emerging as the two programs that have been viewed as the strongest contenders down the stretch. But, the latest movement has shifted heavily toward the Irish.

5-star OT Oluwasemilore Olubobola nearing decision as Miami fades

The Rivals recruiting prediction machine now lists Notre Dame as the clear favorite at 87.9%, with new leader movement logged from national recruiting analysts Steve Wiltfong and Chad Simmons. Miami is listed below 1% in the current recruiting prediction machine snapshot.

Miami had been one of Olubobola's favorites for months, and his March 31 unofficial visit to Coral Gables kept the Hurricanes alive in the race. Notre Dame then got its chance on April 25, when Olubobola made an unofficial visit to South Bend. That visit seems to have clearly made an impression. Both Miami and Notre Dame have built reputations for being able to develop young offensive linemen and send them to the NFL.
