Miami's 2027 recruiting class is starting to look like one of the best groups in the country.

The Hurricanes climbed into the top five nationally after adding four commitments in less than a week, with cornerback Ai'King Hall, edge Jayvon Dawson, interior offensive lineman Jatori Williams and linebacker AJ Randle joining the class.

Mario Cristobal's Miami Hurricanes are now No. 4 nationally in the 247Sports team rankings and No. 4 in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, giving the Hurricanes the No. 1 class in the ACC on both major boards.

Hall started the run by flipping from Oregon to Miami. Dawson followed by committing to the Hurricanes after choosing Miami over Georgia and North Carolina. Then, on Thursday, Williams committed to Miami over Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Florida State before Randle picked the Hurricanes over South Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State and others.

Miami's class now has 15 commitments and 11 blue-chip prospects. On3/Rivals has Miami behind only Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Oklahoma, and ahead of USC, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Georgia and Alabama.

With Hall joining the fold, the Hurricanes have four DBs in 2027. Per On3/Rivals, Hall is the No. 74 overall player, No. 11 cornerback and No. 1 player in Alabama.

Williams is listed as the No. 105 overall player and No. 9 interior offensive lineman in the On3/Rivals industry comparison, while 247Sports ranks him No. 92 overall and No. 6 at his position. He joins Sean Tatum and Tyler Ford in Miami's 2027 offensive line group.

Randle gave Miami its first linebacker commitment in the class. He is listed as the No. 96 overall player and No. 6 linebacker in the On3/Rivals industry comparison, and 247Sports has him No. 146 overall and No. 8 at linebacker.

Dawson is not ranked as highly as the others, but he fits the same theme. He gives Miami another front-seven player from Florida and can develop under the quality coaching that Miami has on defense.

Cristobal's staff has built a class that can keep Miami at the top

Miami has commitments from Florida, California, Alabama, Illinois, Texas, Mississippi, Georgia and North Carolina. The Canes have blue-chip talent at quarterback, wide receiver, cornerback, linebacker, defensive line and offensive line.

Now, it is still early in the 2027 cycle, and commitments certainly aren't final in this era of college football. But, this is the type of class that can keep Miami in national title contention for years to come.
