Miami basketball transfer portal tracker: What Jai Lucas has lost and added

Miami's roster reset is in full swing, and Jai Lucas and the Hurricanes have plenty left to do.

Incoming transfers to Miami

Somto Cyril, C, Georgia

Cyril is the first confirmed portal addition for Lucas. The 6-foot-11 center averaged 9.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in 21.2 minutes per game for Georgia last season, made the SEC All-Defensive Team and has two years of eligibility remaining.

Transfer departures from Miami

Tru Washington, G

Washington entered the portal after averaging 11.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 31 games, then quickly committed to Xavier. He was one of Miami's best perimeter defenders.

Timo Malovec, F

Malovec entered the portal after one season in Coral Gables. He averaged 4.2 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 33 games and showed some stretch-forward upside, but never locked down a steady role.

Noam Dovrat, G

Dovrat averaged 3.8 points, 0.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 27 appearances before hitting the portal.

Salih Altuntas, C/F

Altuntas entered the portal after averaging 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in 32 games.

John Laboy, G

Laboy played in six games and averaged 1.2 points and 0.5 assists before entering the portal.

Jordyn Kee, G

Kee averaged 0.4 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists in eight games before entering the portal after one season at Miami.

Treyvon Maddox, F

Maddox is out the door after not appearing in a game last season.

Graduated or out of eligibility

Malik Reneau, PF

Reneau is gone after averaging 18.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists and earning first-team All-ACC honors. He was Miami's leading scorer and is the biggest loss on the roster.

Tre Donaldson, PG

Donaldson graduated after putting up 16.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game while making second-team All-ACC.

Ernest Udeh Jr., C

Udeh leaves after averaging 6.7 points, 9.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists while making the ACC All-Defensive Team.
