It's a big recruiting weekend for the Miami Hurricanes. Over the next 24 hours, Mario Cristobal is going to host many of the top in-state targets for a Junior Day event. For these types of gatherings, it's important to have the current commitments on campus to help with camaraderie and four-star wide receiver Ah'mari Stevens will be among them.

Stevens, who was one of the first players to commit to the Hurricanes in the 2027 recruiting cycle, said that he's still solid with Miami despite several other programs, including Texas, Georgia and LSU, aggressively trying to get him to flip.

Ah'Mari Stevens isn't wavering in his commitment to Miami

Stevens is an important recruit in the 2027 class, not just because he's a terrific talent with incredible upside, but also because he plays for one of the top programs in the state, Chaminade-Madonna Prep, and the school is located in Hollywood, less than 30 minutes from campus.

That's why it's important for Stevens to be a solid pledge in the class and to be around Coral Gables this weekend. This is a weekend for the local prospects. Most of the players that will be around are from Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach County and many of them have had friendships with each other that go back to their days in youth football. This weekend they will be able to catch up with each other and visualize the possibilities of playing for the hometown team.

As a matter of fact, Stevens tells EJ Holland of On3/Rivals that he's going to be in the ear of two key Miami wide receiver targets — five-star Nick Lennear and four-star Julius Jones Jr.

Lennear is already a reported heavy lean to Miami, so expect Stevens to see if he can get the elite Miami Carol City prospect on board with the Hurricanes by the end of the weekend.
