The University of Miami has announced that four legendary Hurricanes — Ken Dorsey, Andre Johnson, Bryant McKinnie, and Dan Morgan — will be inducted into the Miami Football Ring of Honor as the Class of 2025. The induction ceremony is scheduled for halftime of Miami’s home game against Stanford on Saturday, October 25, at Hard Rock Stadium.

Ken Dorsey (Quarterback, 1999–2002)

Dorsey led the Hurricanes to a 38–2 record as a starter, including the 2001 national championship. He holds the school record for career passing touchdowns (86) and ranks second in passing yards (9,565). Dorsey was a two-time All-American and won the Maxwell Award in 2001. After his college career, he played in the NFL and is currently the passing game specialist for the Dallas Cowboys.

Andre Johnson (Wide Receiver, 2000–2002)

Johnson was a key contributor to Miami’s 2001 national championship team, earning Co-MVP honors in the Rose Bowl with seven catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns. He amassed 1,831 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns during his college career. Johnson was the third overall pick in the 2003 NFL Draft and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2024.

Bryant McKinnie (Offensive Tackle, 2000–2001)

McKinnie anchored the offensive line during Miami’s dominant early 2000s run, not allowing a single sack in his two seasons. He earned unanimous All-American honors and won the Outland Trophy in 2001. McKinnie was the seventh overall pick in the 2002 NFL Draft and won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens.

Dan Morgan (Linebacker, 1997–2000)

Morgan is Miami’s all-time leader in tackles with 532 and is the only player in school history to record over 100 tackles in four consecutive seasons. In 2000, he became the first player to win the Butkus, Bednarik, and Lombardi Awards in the same year. Morgan was a first-round pick in the 2001 NFL Draft and is currently the President of Football Operations/General Manager for the Carolina Panthers.

The addition of these four players brings the total number of inductees in the Miami Football Ring of Honor to 31. This honor recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the legacy of Hurricanes football.
