With him being known as an ace recruiter, it should never be a surprise when Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes are in the hunt to land an elite prospect. That's exactly the case for a touted wideout from the Lone Star State.
As things stand, 4-star receiver Brayden Robinson has high interest in three programs, setting up official visits to those schools for down the road. Those schools are Miami, Notre Dame and Ohio State. According to Rivals' Sam Spiegelman, Robinson, a Texas native, is all set to make his way to Coral Gables on June 6 for his first of three officials:
4-star wide receiver Brayden Robinson will visit Miami this June
Miami, Ohio State and Notre Dame are sticking out early for Robinson, which is big as he holds 39 offers to his name. In addition to those three programs, he holds additional rides from Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Nebraska and many others.
Per the 247Sports Composite, the 5-8, 160-pounder is ranked four stars, the No. 36 wideout in the country and the No. 32 prospect from Texas for his class. Robinson has a bright future at the college level in front of him, which is made obvious with so many teams trying to land his services.
Cristobal and the Canes are hoping he'll sign with the team next December and it looks like they're in a good spot to potentially make that happen. Getting the first official visit from Robinson is going to be key as well.
With him visiting Miami first, Cristobal and his staff will be able to set the bar high for what Ryan Day and Marcus Freeman will have to try and match. That's certainly not going to be easy for them, as we know how incredible the Miami campus looks during that time of the year. Will that OV lead to a commitment? We'll find out in the coming months, but that two-day stay could send Miami over the top.
