Abraham Sesay, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound EDGE from Exton, Pa. has trimmed his list to six schools: Duke, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame, Penn State and South Carolina.

Ohio State had been trending, but the Buckeyes were left out of the finalist group.

2027 EDGE Abraham Sesay announces final six schools

Rivals is the highest on him right now, ranking Sesay No. 38 nationally and No. 5 at EDGE in the updated Rivals300. In the Rivals Industry Ranking, he sits at No. 77 overall, No. 10 at EDGE and the No. 4 prospect in Pennsylvania. On 247Sports, Sesay is rated 90 and ranked No. 78 nationally and No. 8 at EDGE, while the 247Sports Composite has him No. 72 overall and No. 10 at EDGE.

Sesay has visits scheduled to Florida State on March 28 and Miami on April 9, then he'll return to Notre Dame on April 25 for the Blue-Gold Game. Sesay's plan is to use those spring visits to narrow down the list to the five schools he wants to take official visits to, and he'd also like to have a decision made in the summer.

Sesay has taken unofficial visits to Duke on Jan. 10, 2026, Notre Dame (Nov. 22, 2025), Ohio State (Nov. 15, 2025), Nebraska (Nov. 1, 2025) and Rutgers (Oct. 18, 2025).

The Hurricanes have four commits in 2027 and one of them is on the defensive line: EDGE Demarcus Deroche (committed on Aug. 19, 2025). When it comes to the defensive line — or any position group for that matter — more is better in recruiting. If you can play, you will play. And Miami has shown that it can develop top tier D-line talent as Rueben Bain and Akheem Mesidor both look like they will be first round picks in the upcoming NFL draft.
