Miami HC Mario Cristobal and WR coach Kevin Beard visit 2027 4-star WR

Miami coach Mario Cristobal and wide receivers coach Kevin Beard made an in-person visit Friday afternoon to Dillard High School to check in on four-star wide receiver Anthony Jennings.

Jennings is listed at 6-foot, 165 pounds, and the 247Sports Composite ranks him No. 213 nationally in the 2027 class, No. 29 at wide receiver and No. 21 in Florida.

The offer list is already big for the 2027 receiver. Jennings holds offers from Miami, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Indiana, Pitt, West Virginia, Boston College and others.

On the field, Jennings caught 34 passes for 823 yards and 11 touchdowns in eight games during the 2025-26 season, after posting 21 catches for 566 yards and eight touchdowns in 11 games the year before. Jennings logged 24.2 yards per catch this season and 27.0 last season, with 19 touchdowns across his last 19 varsity games.

Jennings plans to come by for practices, which could give him time around Beard and the offensive staff, and it gives Miami another chance to sell development and opportunity in a receiver room that has been in constant motion in the recent seasons.

Going into the 2025 season, Miami had to replace its top six pass catchers. The Canes did a good job in the transfer portal — in addition to the rise of Malachi Toney — to replace the production and field a top offense.
