According to Gaby Urrutia of Inside the U, the Miami Hurricanes hosted 6-5 Boise State wide receiver Prince Strachan for an official visit on Sunday. Strachan had 37 receptions for 578 yards and three touchdowns in two seasons at Boise State. Strachan would provide Miami with needed size at WR for the 2025 roster.

Rising redshirt freshman Chance Robinson is currently the tallest WR projected to be on the 2025 Miami roster at 6-2. Miami lost its top four WRs from the 2024 roster. C.J. Daniels from LSU is the only incoming transfer for Miami in 2025 at WR. Expect Miami to attempt to add one or two more transfer WRs to the 2025 roster, especially with Carson Beck just signing with the team.

Strachan is the No. 949 transfer overall and No. 156 WR in the 2025 portal according to On3. Transferring to Miami would allow Strachan to return much closer to home. Strachan played at John Carroll High in Fort Pierce after relocating from the Bahamas because of Hurricane Dorian in 2019 per 247Sports.

Strachan was the No. 200 WR and No. 208 player from Florida according to the 2022 247Sports Composite rankings. Strachan did not start playing football until he moved to the United States. In addition to playing football, Strachan was also a regional qualifier in the 400 meters in high school per his 247Sports profile.

Strachan improved to 25 receptions for 304 yards and one TD in 2024 for the Broncos.

Strachan's brother Michael played three seasons in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers, recording six receptions for 130 yards. Strachan would have an opportunity to transfer to Miami and immediately compete to be a starter with the top four Miami WRs moving on after the 2024 season.
