Miami's recruiting work is not stopping with the 2027 and 2028 classes as the Hurricanes are already pushing into 2029.

Brett Boston, a 2029 wide receiver from Santaluces Community High School in Lantana, Florida, has picked up an early offer from Miami. Boston is still at the beginning of his high school career, but he already has a Power Four offer list forming and a freshman season that explains why programs are getting involved this early.

Miami offers 2029 WR Brett Boston

Boston is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound wide receiver from Lake Worth, Florida. He is not ranked yet, which is normal for much of the 2029 class at this stage.

Miami joins a growing offer list that includes Florida State, Cincinnati, Louisville, Pittsburgh and Purdue. The Hurricanes are trying to build a relationship before his recruitment moves into a more competitive phase.

Boston produced right away at Santaluces. He put up 30 receptions for 620 yards and five touchdowns during the 2025 season. He averaged 20.7 yards per catch and 62.0 receiving yards per game, finishing as Santaluces' leader in receiving yards per game and ranking second on the team in receiving touchdowns.

Miami already has a commitment from 2027 Santaluces edge rusher Jayvon Dawson, who chose the Hurricanes in May after Miami jumped into his recruitment late.

Dawson is one of the top defensive prospects in Palm Beach County and is rated by 247Sports as the No. 29 edge rusher and No. 27 player in Florida in the 2027 class.

It might be a stretch, but the connection is still worth noting. The staff has plenty of time around Santaluces and knows what they're doing when a recruitment is this far out. Obviously, nothing is truly official yet, but it is still something to keep an eye on for those Miami fans who like to look far in the future.
