Miami's 2028 class already has a quarterback committed, and now the Hurricanes get a chance to keep building the pieces around him.

Dennis Tua'one, a four-star wide receiver from Timpview High School in Provo, Utah, is expected to be on Miami's campus this weekend for the Hurricanes' Legends Camp.

4-star WR Dennis Tua'one is visiting Miami

Tua'one is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver with a national offer list and top-100 status in the 247Sports Composite and Rivals Industry Ranking.

The 247Sports Composite ranks Tua'one as the No. 85 overall prospect, No. 11 wide receiver and No. 3 player in Utah in the 2028 class. The Rivals Industry Ranking places him No. 76 overall, No. 10 at wide receiver and No. 3 in Utah.

Miami does not have a wide receiver committed in the 2028 class, and Tua'one would become one of the headlining offensive pieces if the Hurricanes can earn his commitment down the line.

Tua'one has a packed month ahead, with visits scheduled to Arizona on June 8, USC on June 11 and Oregon on June 17. Miami is getting him on campus before that West Coast stretch, and it is a clear sign of interest for the Hurricanes.

Tua'one had 34 receptions for 641 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore in 2025, while also throwing for 872 yards and four touchdowns.

The Hurricanes already have quarterback Knox Annis committed. The Mandarin High School quarterback committed to Miami on April 9 and is a three-star prospect per 247Sports. Miami is also in the top five for 2028 QB Neimann Lawrence. He will make his commitment later this month on June 25.

Tua'one plays for the Raw Miami 7-on-7 program and has South Florida ties. That gives the Hurricanes a different entry point than a normal cross-country recruitment. It also gives Miami fans hope in a recruitment like this.
