No. 15 Miami closed its regular-season home schedule with authority Saturday, overwhelming NC State 41-7 at Hard Rock Stadium in a performance that checked every box down the stretch. Miami dominated the line of scrimmage, generated points on defense, and got an efficient, turnover-free day from quarterback Carson Beck to move to 8-2 overall and strengthen its resume.

Beck completed 21 of 27 passes for 291 yards and three touchdowns, pacing an offense that piled up 533 total yards and 25 first downs. Miami led 24-0 at halftime and never allowed NC State to threaten. RB Girard Pringle Jr. added balance with 116 rushing yards on 17 carries as the Hurricanes averaged 5.2 yards per rush and converted all the chances they needed to keep the Wolfpack off the field.
The defense set the tone early. On NC State's second possession, a 60-yard interception return for a touchdown stretched Miami's lead to double digits. By the fourth quarter, Miami had limited NC State to 97 total yards, forced two turnovers and held the visitors to 2-for-10 on third down. Edge rusher Akheem Mesidor and the front were disruptive throughout the game.
Beck’s touchdown throws went to Malachi Toney (two) and Elija Lofton, with Keelan Marion (seven receptions, 96 yards) and Joshua Moore (two for 56) providing explosive plays outside.
For NC State, it was a long afternoon. The Wolfpack’s offense finished with more punts than first downs and didn't break 30 rushing yards until late. A pick-six on the opening series and a second interception in the second half compounded protection issues and poor field position.
Miami looked like a top-15 team in every phase and closed Senior Day with a complete effort in front of a home crowd that has seen the Hurricanes build up some momentum as of late.
