Miami added another piece to its 2026 defensive front with lineman Logan Nagle flipping from Pittsburgh to the Hurricanes after his official visit for Miami's 38-10 win over Syracuse. Nagle, listed by 247Sports at 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds, said he "did his homework" on the fit, visited twice this fall, and trusts Mario Cristobal’s development plan. The recent commitment now gives Miami and Mario Cristobal their fourth commitment in the last four days.

247Sports ranks Nagle No. 506 nationally, as the No. 60 defensive lineman, and No. 8 player in New Jersey. Rivals/On3 peg him as the No. 53 defensive lineman. This fall he is leading DePaul with eight sacks in nine games and totaling 59 tackles with 17.5 tackles for loss.

Miami's recent hot streak

Keshawn Stancil, a four-star from Clayton, N.C., previously committed to Clemson, flipped to Miami on Oct. 29. 247Sports lists him as the No. 10 defensive lineman and No. 120 overall nationally.

James "JJ" Dunnigan, a four-star safety from Manhattan, Kan., committed to Miami on Nov. 9 a few weeks after decommitting from Kansas. 247Sports has him as a top-100 national prospect.

DeAnthony Lafayette, a four-star edge rusher from Orlando (Lake Nona), committed to Miami on Nov. 10, one day after backing off his LSU pledge. Lafayette cited the appeal of Jason Taylor's development and Corey Hetherman's scheme in choosing the Hurricanes over Florida State down the stretch.

Milan Parris, a four-star wide receiver from Walsh Jesuit (Ohio), flipped from Iowa State to Miami on Oct. 28.

Isaac Chukwurah, a defensive lineman from Caravel Academy (Del.), flipped from Penn State to Miami on Nov. 11 following an official visit to Coral Gables.

With the recent surge in recruiting, Miami now ranks No. 10 in the country for the Class of 2026 and No. 1 in the ACC (per Rivals/On3).
