IOL Reis Russell is down to six schools
Russell is a Class of 2027 lineman from Valor Christian High School in Littleton, Colorado, and he's listed at 6-foot-4, 290 pounds.
On the rankings side, Russell is a three-star prospect and currently sits No. 537 nationally in the 2027 class, No. 2 in Colorado, and No. 34 among interior offensive linemen in the Rivals Industry Ranking. Russell has over 20 offers from FBS schools.
Russell was recently visited by Alex Mirabal as Miami has stayed in the mix.

Russell has said each finalist brings something different. Russell has emphasized relationships with coaches, specifically pointing to his long-standing familiarity with Florida offensive line coach Phil Trautwein going back to Trautwein's time at Penn State.
Georgia and Oregon are constant programs in national OL recruiting battles, and Washington has been active in the region and has a track record of producing NFL-caliber linemen. Also, Valor Christian is known to produce quality OL prospects. But, Miami is a program that is also going to be very competitive in any OL recruitment because of its recent history of developing the trenches.
