Miami picked up a major piece for its 2026 receiver haul Tuesday night, as Milan Parris — a 6-5, 205-pound wideout from Walsh Jesuit (Akron, Ohio) — committed to the Hurricanes. Parris chose Miami after a fall surge in his recruitment that included official visits to Oklahoma and Oregon and follows a decommitment from Iowa State earlier this month.

Parris fits the profile Miami has targeted under receivers coach Kevin Beard: length, large catch radius and vertical speed. The On3 Industry Ranking has him at 89.83 (No. 303 overall, No. 50 WR, No. 15 in Ohio). He logged a junior season in 2024 with 28 catches for 597 yards and nine touchdowns for a Walsh Jesuit team that finished 13-1.
The Hurricanes closed after hosting Parris on an unofficial visit over the weekend of the Stanford game. The success for true freshman WR Malachi Toney this season was a big recruiting point for Parris. With his pledge, Miami moved to 24 commitments in the 2026 class and strengthened what 247Sports currently ranks as a Top-12 class nationally and No. 1 in the ACC.
I want to thank every single school that showed love throughout the 4 years of Highschool and most importantly to my family, teammates and Walsh Jesuit staff for helping me grow in to the man I am today. #GoCanes🙌🏽 pic.twitter.com/M6FXDXRZYa
