Four-star cornerback Chase Johnson in the Class of 2027 has named the Miami Hurricanes among his top schools as his recruitment starts to tighten up.

Four-star cornerback Chase Johnson names his top five schools
Johnson is listed at 5-foot-10, 150 pounds and is rated a 90 by 247Sports, with the 247Sports Composite ranking him No. 240 nationally and No. 25 at cornerback in the 2027 class. The Rivals Industry Ranking lists him as the No. 222 overall prospect and No. 25 cornerback in the 2027 class.
Johnson's top 10 included Miami, Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Kentucky, Florida State, Florida and Georgia. Johnson's top five includes Miami, Auburn, Georgia, Florida State and Florida.
Four-star CB Josiah Molden
Miami is also in the running for another dynamic corner in the 2027 Class. Josiah Molden is billed as the No. 1 player in Oregon in the 2027 cycle, and he has narrowed down his list to six schools.
Molden is the younger brother of Elijah Molden, an NFL defensive back for the Los Angeles Chargers. Their father, Alex Molden, was the No. 11 overall pick in the 1996 NFL draft and spent years in the league after starring at Oregon.
