Jatori Williams names Miami among final five schools
Williams was previously committed to Alabama before reopening things in December. Back in early February, Williams had a top nine that included Miami, Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida State, Auburn, Florida, Missouri and Tennessee. Now that group is down to five, and Miami is still standing.
247Sports ranks him as the No. 92 overall player in the 2027 class and the No. 6 interior offensive lineman.
Williams earned first-team Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 7A all-state honors after his junior season at Central Phenix City.
Williams took a spring visit to Coral Gables on March 27 after earlier stops at Auburn on March 19, Georgia on March 21 and Florida State on March 24. He is also set to visit Kentucky on April 10. Williams already has an official visit to the Hurricanes locked in for June 5-7. That trip comes right after an official to Georgia on May 29-31 and before officials to Florida State on June 12-14 and Kentucky on June 19-21.
That June visit now looks like one of the more important recruiting weekends on Miami's 2027 calendar after the Spring Ball Splash. The Hurricanes currently have seven commits in the 2027 class, which ranks No. 12 nationally per 247Sports. The 2027 class has just one offensive line commit in Zaquan Linton.
Linton currently carries an 86 rating from 247Sports, which ranks him No. 75 among offensive tackles and No. 85 in Florida. On3's Industry Ranking has him No. 71 among offensive tackles and No. 115 in Florida.
