5-star WR Monshun Sales includes Miami in final four teams
Sales is listed at 6-foot-5 and 201 pounds and is a top-10 recruit in the 2027 Rivals Industry Rankings. He is also the No. 2 WR in the nation and No. 1 player in Indiana, per Rivals Industry. On the field, Sales totaled 32 receptions for 967 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior in 2025.
The pitches from the final four (per Sales): Alabama has always been Sales' dream school, Ohio State has the NFL receiver-development pitch, Indiana is Sales' second home and have built something special, and Miami can get WRs the ball and compete for national championships.
Each of these teams — as well as the other eight that didn't make it into Sales' final four — are elite. Alabama, Ohio State, Indiana and Miami each made it to the CFP last season. The Crimson Tide were able to get a win against Oklahoma in the first round before running into the Hoosiers in the Rose Bowl. The Hurricanes defeated Texas A&M, Ohio State and Ole Miss before they faced off against Indiana in the CFP national championship game.
Of course, with the Hoosiers being the national champions, it might be tough for Miami to steal the top player in the state of Indiana. But, if there was ever any offseason revenge that could help Canes' fans deal with the CFP national title loss, this would be it.
