Rivals analysts Greg Biggins and Brandon Huffman both logged predictions for Miami to land four-star wide receiver Dennis Tua'one. The Rivals prediction page also listed Miami as the top team in the industry consensus at 95.7%.

Miami predicted to land 4-star WR Dennis Tua'one

Tua'one is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver from Timpview High School in Provo, Utah. Rivals ranks him as the No. 77 overall prospect, No. 10 wide receiver and No. 3 player in Utah in the 2028 class.

Tua'one is originally from Fort Lauderdale before his family moved to Utah when he was around 8 years old. He visited Miami on June 7 before scheduled trips to Arizona State, USC and Oregon later that month.

Tua'one finished the 2025 season with 34 catches for 641 yards, 223 rushing yards and 872 passing yards while totaling 1,736 yards of offense. He had 10 catches for 247 yards against Spanish Fork, seven catches for 118 yards against Orem and seven catches for 107 yards against Wasatch during the season.

The Hurricanes currently have two commitments in the 2028 cycle: Carrollton offensive tackle Kweli Fielder (the No. 43 overall prospect and No. 5 offensive tackle in the Rivals Industry Ranking) and Mandarin quarterback Knox Annis (a 6-foot-3 passer who threw for 2,203 yards and 22 touchdowns as a sophomore). Adding Tua'one would give Miami its first receiver in the class and pair Annis with a top-100 skill player before the cycle fully heats up.

Cristobal and Beard have already built a strong 2027 receiver group, led by five-star Nick Lennear and fast-rising four-star Eli Woodard. A Tua'one commitment would allow Miami to flex a little recruiting muscle, send another message to the schools out West, and help a South Florida prospect come back home (even though he lives in Utah).
