Miami 2026-27 roster
Miami lost starting point guard Tre Donaldson, power forward Malik Reneau and Udeh, the starter at center, from their 2025-26 roster as all three completed their eligibility after last season. Sophomore Shelton Henderson is the foundational player for Miami in 2026-27.
Henderson will be joined by five-star 2026 signee Caleb Gaskins and Robert Morris transfer DeSean Goode at PF, point guard Acaden Lewis from Villanova and Georgia center Somto Cyril as the core players for the Hurricanes in 2026-27.
TCU lost seven players to the 2026 Transfer Portal and brought in three to its 2026-27 roster. The biggest loss for TCU is leading scorer and rebounder David Punch, who transferred to Texas. Second-leading scorer and rebounder Xavier Edmonds returns for TCU in 2025-26.
Unlike Miami, who signed the fifth-ranked transfer class plus Gaskins, TCU has the 86th-best class and 71st-ranked group of transfers per 247Sports. TCU signed center Luke Bamgboye from Texas Tech, PG D.J. Thomas from West Virginia and high-scoring Long Beach State Gavin Sykes.
Miami is a consensus top 25 team in the way-too-early rankings. The Hurricanes are between 20 and 25 in most rankings. Gary Parrish of CBS Sports has TCU 24th in his 25 and 1 Way-too-early college basketball rankings and Jon Rothstein of FanDuel has the Horned Frogs 29th in his projections.
