Someone had to do it

Sometimes you just have to put an internet troll in his place and former offensive lineman Kelvin Harris is just the man to do it.

Malik Zaire is a former Notre Dame quarterback who also had a cup of coffee with the Florida Gators after he wasn't good enough to continue to play for the Irish. Since his playing days have ended, he just trolls on X (fka Twitter) all day and I guess that's cool and all, but sometimes he steps out of line and that's when guys like Harris have to put him back in his place.

Thank you, Kelvin Harris. Sometimes it takes a champion, a real champion that has won a lot, to remind a nobody that they are a nobody. If Zaire had a biography written about his time at Notre Dame, it would say that he was best known for being DeShone Kizer's backup and then going to Florida, where he was best known for backing up Feleipe Franks.

But Zaire is out here on Twitter talking about the playoffs or bust for Notre Dame when the peak of his college career was throwing for 96 yards in the Music City Bowl.

Harris speaks for a fed-up Hurricane fan base

Miami fans are ready to move on from this whole Notre Dame/CFP controversy. It's been a week now and everyone listened to Pete Bevacqua go on his media spree of complaining about the committee and complaining about the ACC and threatening everyone that he feels wronged Notre Dame.

Angry Notre Dame fans have all had their say, they have had their gripes, and now it's time to listen to Harris and shut up. Nothing is changing. Miami is in the 12-team bracket and Notre Dame is not. Some people, myself included, thought Miami and Notre Dame should've been in over Alabama, but that's not what happened. Life doesn't always give you what you want.

It's nice to see Jeremiyah Love show some class and maturity in the face of disappointment. That's probably why he's a finalist for the Heisman Trophy and not some backup quarterback begging for attention on social media.
