Miami's transfer portal work is taking shape in the trenches, with a high-end interior option from Clemson locking in a visit and a young Colorado starter expected to get to Coral Gables soon. The winter portal runs Jan. 2-16.
Miami might be a big player for defensive lineman in the current transfer portal cycle. With future NFL draft pick Rueben Bain and veteran Akheem Mesidor moving on after the Canes' CFP run, the Miami staff will want to bring in talent in that area. Also, Miami could be an attractive landing spot for trench players because of the dominance that was shown this season.
Clemson defensive tackle Stephiylan Green
Clemson defensive tackle Stephiylan Green has a Miami visit scheduled for Jan. 11-12. Green's visit list also includes LSU (Jan. 4-5), Texas A&M (Jan. 6-7) and USC (Jan. 8-10) before Miami gets the final stop.
