Miami misses on 4-star IOL Gus Corsair
Corsair's decision was another win for Oregon offensive line coach A'lique Terry and head coach Dan Lanning, who have made offensive line recruiting a major emphasis.
Prior to his Oregon commitment, Corsair had official visits previously scheduled to Vanderbilt on June 5, Oregon on June 12 and Miami on June 19.
Corsair is ranked as the No. 17 interior offensive lineman and No. 3 player in Kansas in 247Sports' in-house rankings. The 247Sports Composite has him No. 300 nationally, No. 15 among interior offensive linemen and No. 1 in Kansas.
The Rivals Industry Ranking has him No. 313 nationally, No. 21 among interior offensive linemen and No. 2 in Kansas.
The Ducks now have 10 blue-chip commitments among 12 total commits and sit No. 7 in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Oregon's class is led by Rivals' No. 1 quarterback Will Mencl and top-50 prospects Rashad Streets and Ai'King Hall.
Miami's current 2027 offensive line class is built around Sean Tatum and Tyler Ford. The Canes will continue to add more OL prospects as the year goes on.
247Sports has Tatum as the No. 234 overall prospect, No. 13 interior offensive lineman and No. 23 player in Florida. The 247Sports Composite slots him at No. 174 nationally, No. 10 among offensive tackles and No. 20 in Florida.
247Sports has Ford as the No. 51 offensive tackle and No. 65 player in Georgia. The 247Sports Composite lists him at No. 695 nationally, No. 66 among offensive tackles and No. 85 in Georgia.
