The Dallas Mavericks took down the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, but what if we told you that Kyrie Irving and his 42 points weren't the only thing that stood out? Yes, plenty of eyes were on Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler, but Miami Hurricanes standout Cam Ward also had fans off their seats.
Wait, what? That's exactly what happened for the Dallas-Golden State matchup, as the elite QB prospect was sitting courtside for the action. With the camera zoomed in on him, Ward decided to make a lot of people in South Florida happy, throwing up 'The U' for everyone inside of the stadium to enjoy. Yup, people all over Miami sure are loving this:

Miami QB Cam Ward showed the Canes love while at the Warriors-Mavs game
He may have only spent one season with the Canes, transferring in from Washington State, but Ward is always going to appreciate his time in Coral Gables. Playing for Miami is an incredible honor and it's something the QB is going to take with him to the NFL.
Already, he's reminding fans across the country of where he closed out his college career, doing so in style by breaking multiple Miami passing records. Ward is now enjoying some time off before his prep for the NFL Draft goes into overdrive.
While there's buzz that Abdul Carter, Shedeur Sanders or Travis Hunter could end up with Tennessee, plenty of insiders still believe that Ward will be taken No. 1 overall. With the Titans open to trading back, it could open the door for a team like the New York Giants to trade up for Ward too.
Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen are on thin ice - the NFC East side needs a star QB to pair with Malik Nabers. Hey, that's where Ward will come in. Regardless of how things go down on draft night, Ward is excited for the next step. Don't be surprised if he once again fires up 'The U' while on stage with Roger Goodell.
