Bryce Perry-Wright, a standout defensive lineman from Buford High School in Georgia, has announced his final four college choices: Miami, Clemson, Texas, and Texas A&M. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound junior plans to reveal his commitment on July 4.
Perry-Wright has been a dominant force on the field, recording 57 tackles, including 13 for loss, 9 sacks, and 17 quarterback hurries in his junior season. Over his high school career, he has amassed 109 tackles and 17.5 sacks, contributing significantly to Buford's 12-2 record and a semifinal appearance in Georgia's 6A playoffs last season.
Ranked as a four-star prospect, Perry-Wright holds the No. 32 overall spot nationally and is the No. 2 defensive lineman in Georgia, according to 247Sports. Rivals places him at No. 60 nationally and No. 4 at his position. On3 has him ranked as the No. 34 player nationally and No. 5 player in the state of Georgia.
Clemson has made a strong impression on Perry-Wright, with the recruit noting a sense of being "genuinely wanted and respected" after his official visit. He has visited Clemson multiple times.
Miami has also emerged as a serious contender. An unofficial visit in April significantly boosted the Hurricanes' standing, and Perry-Wright is scheduled for an official visit on June 6. The program's connection to his uncle, NFL Hall of Famer Ray Lewis, adds a personal dimension to his consideration.
Texas and Texas A&M round out his top four, with official visits planned for June 13 and June 20, respectively. Miami currently does not have any player committed in the 2026 class on the defensive line. LB Jordan Campbell and CB's Jaelen Waters, Camdin Portis and Jontavius Wyman are the only commits on the defensive side of the ball for the Canes. Miami has done well on the offensive line but adding Perry-Wright would be a huge win for the trenches on the recruiting trail.
