No. 3 Miami's home game against Florida State at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday night is expected to be one of the strongest recruiting weekends of the fall.

Head coach Mario Cristobal, Executive Director of Football Dennis Smith and the staff have continued to push hard on the trail, and the group already scheduled to attend includes multiple five-star prospects and several of the highest-ranked players in the 2028 class.

Top recruits: Brysen Wright and Casey Barner

The visitors are headlined by five-star wide receiver Brysen Wright of Jacksonville Mandarin, the Rivals Industry Rankings' No. 3 overall prospect. Wright returns with Miami near the top of a list that also includes Texas and Florida. Cristobal's staff has recruited him as aggressively as any program, and the Hurricanes' passing offense, highlighted by sophomore receiver Malachi Toney, has been a point of interest for Wright.

Five-star safety Casey Barner, the Rivals Industry Rankings' No. 1 safety and No. 2 overall prospect, is also expected back. Ohio State, Georgia and Texas A&M remain in the mix for him, though Miami has continued to make a strong impression.

Offensive line and defensive line groups

Miami's top two offensive line targets are both expected: Rivals Industry Rankings' No. 1 offensive tackle Maui Tonata (No. 11 overall) of Orem, Utah, and No. 5 interior offensive lineman Jamarios Canton. Rivals' Steve Wiltfong has already logged an expert prediction in favor of the Hurricanes for Tonata, who previously visited and camped with the program in June and will be making his second trip to Coral Gables.

On the defensive line, five-star edge rusher Asher Ghioto of The Bolles School and five-star defensive tackle Prince Che of Thomas County Central are both expected to be in Coral Gables. For Ghioto, Miami is the most consistent program to this point, with Georgia and Florida also in the running. Ghioto's most recent visit to Georgia might have allowed the Bulldogs to gain some momentum, but Miami will have the chance to make its case this weekend.

Che has trimmed his list to seven schools that include Miami, Texas A&M, LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, Georgia and Texas, and this will be one of his major game-day visits.

Skill-position visitors

Five-star receiver Jaylen Addai of Shadow Creek in Texas, the No. 1 prospect out of the state and the Rivals Industry Rankings' No. 8 overall player, is also expected to be in town. Addai is an LSU legacy and has shown interest in the Tigers and Notre Dame. Smith previously recruited Addai's father, and there are existing connections to the family on Miami's staff.

Five-star cornerback Nasir Richardson of Malcolm X Shabazz in New Jersey, the nation's No. 1 cornerback and No. 10 overall prospect, is another visitor who has been eager to get to Miami. The top recruit out of New Jersey has already taken game visits to Penn State and Michigan.

Tight end and overall picture

The tight end group is also represented at a high level with Rivals No. 1 athlete Grant Bowen, who some evaluators project at linebacker, also coming to visit. Miami is among Bowen's favorites alongside Notre Dame, Ohio State and Iowa, where his father played.

By kickoff, additional visitors could still be revealed. Regardless, this weekend is huge for Miami on the recruiting trail and it is important that Miami takes care of business against FSU.
