Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney has added JPMorgan Chase to a growing list of NIL partners, with the latest agreement centered on educating young adults about recognizing scams and fraud in the NIL era.

Toney teams up with Chase on scam education

Through the partnership, Toney is sharing sponsored social content that draws on his experiences as a college athlete navigating new opportunities. The posts, which went live Wednesday afternoon, include tips for spotting red flags, verifying requests, and protecting personal and financial information.

"As a college athlete, I've seen how exciting it can be to get new opportunities through NIL and social media, but that also makes it important to know who you're dealing with and recognize when something doesn't feel right. Scams can happen to anyone, and I partnered with Chase because I want to help other young people recognize the warning signs, slow down and take the time to protect themselves and their money."

Toney is drawing on a personal experience in which he nearly fell for a fake brand deal. That near-miss has informed the tips he is sharing through the Chase content.

Expanding portfolio includes Red Bull, Adidas and more

The Chase agreement is the latest addition for Toney, who carries a $2 million On3 NIL valuation and is represented by NETWORK. Recent partnerships include Red Bull, announced earlier in October, and Adidas, which he joined in early September as part of the brand's athlete roster. He also has deals with FIT House Brands and previously partnered with Hellstar during his freshman season, along with Leaf Trading Cards.

Toney's endorsement has coincided with continued production for the undefeated No. 1 Hurricanes. Through seven games this season he has 66 receptions for 952 yards and 11 touchdowns, ranking among the national leaders in each category.
