Five-star LSU commit Jaiden Bryant gave the Miami Hurricanes a statement moment during one of its biggest recruiting weekends of the summer.

Bryant, one of the top EDGE prospects in the 2027 class, is in Coral Gables for his official visit and has already given Miami fans plenty to talk about. During a photoshoot in full Hurricanes gear, Bryant threw up the U with his hands. He also appeared on Instagram Live while LSU fans filled the comments with the kind of panic that always follows a committed blue-chip prospect looking a little too comfortable at another school.

Jaiden Bryant now seems like a possible flip target for Miami

Bryant committed to LSU on Jan. 3, but his recruitment has never felt completely closed. He still scheduled official visits, and Miami got the first shot among his summer stops. Bryant's official visit schedule starts with Miami on May 29 before trips to Texas A&M, South Carolina and LSU.

Official visits are full on recruiting events, especially for committed players still willing to listen. Bryant wearing Miami gear and flashing the U during a visit photoshoot gives the Hurricanes momentum in a recruitment they have been pushing for months.

LSU fans have a reason to be nervous. Bryant is one of the Tigers' top early commitments in the 2027 class. On3/Rivals has him as the No. 29 overall player, No. 4 EDGE and No. 1 player in South Carolina in the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Bryant committed after LSU hired defensive line coach Sterling Lucas, who had recruited him for nearly two years from his time at South Carolina.

That relationship is still the biggest reason LSU should feel confident. But Miami is now getting its chance to counter with a full weekend in Coral Gables, a Hall of Fame pass rusher in Jason Taylor helping lead the position pitch, and a recruiting class that is among the best in the country.
