On3's Andy Staples ranked the top 10 quarterbacks in the ACC entering the season, with Miami's Darian Mensah at No. 1, California's Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele at No. 2, SMU's Kevin Jennings at No. 3 and NC State's C.J. Bailey at No. 4.

Mensah finished second nationally in passing yards and tied for second in touchdown passes last season. He is an easy pick for the top spot before he takes over a Miami offense with major expectations.

Sagapolutele started all 13 games as a true freshman and completed 316 of 492 passes for 3,454 yards, 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions. His freshman totals in completions, attempts, passing yards and passing touchdowns trailed only Jared Goff in program history.

Jennings started all 13 games last season, threw for 3,641 yards and 26 touchdowns, and ranked third in the ACC in passing yards.

Bailey completed 68.8% of his passes for 3,105 yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions last season.

Pittsburgh's Mason Heintschel checks in at No. 5 after a promising true freshman season. He put up 2,354 passing yards, 16 touchdown passes, two rushing scores, and went 6-3 as a starter.

Louisville's Lincoln Kienholz comes in at No. 6 after transferring from Ohio State. He had 11 completions on 14 attempts for 139 yards, one passing touchdown, 66 rushing yards and two rushing scores in 2025.

Syracuse's Steve Angeli is No. 7, and the ranking comes from what he showed before a torn Achilles cut his 2025 season short. He logged 1,317 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions last season.

Virginia Tech's Ethan Grunkemeyer comes in at No. 8 after following James Franklin from Penn State. He started the final seven games for Penn State in 2025, completed 69% of his passes for 1,339 yards and eight touchdowns, and helped the Nittany Lions finish on a four-game winning streak.

Clemson's Christopher Vizzina is No. 9, as the Tigers are enter a new stage after Cade Klubnik. Vizzina put up 45 completions on 71 attempts for 406 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in 2025.

Virginia's Beau Pribula rounds out the top 10 after transferring from Missouri. He logged 1,941 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions at Missouri last season.
