The Miami Hurricanes may be focused on bigger things right now, but let's not overlook this other big thing out there to be had. That is right! Former Colorado Buffaloes offensive tackle Jordan Seaton is out there to be had in the transfer portal. The five-star prospect out of high school has spent the last two seasons playing for Deion Sanders in Boulder. He clearly wants to finish his career on a high note.

Look no further than Michael Irvin trying to convince Seaton that Miami is the right place for him now.

Although Irvin and Sanders are peers and former stars of the Dallas Cowboys, one shined brightest in Coral Gables, while the other really got things going in Tallahassee. If Seaton really wanted to turn heel, he could sign with Sanders' alma mater's biggest conference rival. One of the reasons Seaton may flock to Miami is the Hurricanes will give him a better chance to win a national title than Colorado.

With Francis Mauigoa projected to turn pro after this year's title bout, Seaton would have a place here.

Look. This may be a dead period in recruiting, but do you really think that is going to stop Irvin from being himself? Miami became The U in part because of his on-field greatness. While he is very much tied to the program, he could be the perfect mouthpiece for fellow Miami alum in Mario Cristobal. He has a national championship to get ready for, but he will have to abide by the rules of the portal here.

Of the many programs that could use a player like Seaton, Miami has to be on top of the list. Yes, Georgia could use him to replace Monroe Freeling at left tackle, just like Texas A&M could use him to help bring Marcel Reed along. All three teams would be smart landing spots for him. All three teams did make the playoff this season. However, Miami just seems to fit more like hand in glove for Seaton.

Georgia will likely get outbid for his services. The going rate appears to be $2.5 million for one year of Seaton's time. We all know that Texas A&M will fork up the dough with the best of them. As far as Miami is concerned, this looks to be an easy sell. This is something people all over the country want to be a part of. Miami may not be favored to win the national championship, but they are a total force.

For now, the Hurricanes have should be among the favorites to land Seaton out of the portal anyway.
