The NFL offseason is in full swing and with that comes hope and promise for each team. The NFL is often thought to be a league where the worst team from the year prior can win it all the following year. While, in theory that sounds possible, it doesn't always happen. But, it doesn't stop fans and pundits from debating the impact of rookies and newcomers to each team.

Recently, a debate sparked about which rookie, Cam Ward or Travis Hunter, will make a bigger impact as a rookie. The question was asked on Good Morning Football on NFL Network and Kyle Brandt may have put it best.

"I don't care if Travis Hunter also coaches, and punts, and kicks field goals, and mops up the locker room, and drives the team bus, and flies the team plane — it's Cam Ward."

Obviously his comments weren't meant to push Hunter down, but he instead was trying to make a point about how Ward is getting overlooked. Ever since the announcement of Ward as the No. 1 overall pick to the Tennessee Titans in the 2025 NFL Draft, he has seemed like an afterthought. The coverage on Ward is what the conversation ended up moving towards.

Brandt mentioned Shedeur Sanders is getting more coverage than Ward and he is the 4th-string QB for the Cleveland Browns.

"Cam Ward could engineer a Super Bowl winning drive and mass media would be talking about what Shedeur Sanders will actually be driving on Instagram."

Brandt was also obsessing over a picture of Ward and WR Calvin Ridley. I think it's safe to say that Brandt is putting his chips in the middle of the table on Ward and the Titans. He also mentioned that if you're not on the bus now, then don't come around when the Titans are 3-1 and everybody is singing their praise.
