Defensive tackle Justin Scott, defensive back Zaquan Patterson, edge rusher Marquise Lightfoot, offensive lineman Deryc Plazz and wide receiver Ny Carr are 2024 Miami Hurricanes signees who will participate in the All-American Bowl on Saturday afternoon at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio.

Scott is the seventh-ranked signee, third DL and top prospect in Illinois in the 2024 Class. Patterson was named as one of 13 "prospects primed for immediate impacts as true freshmen in CFB's 2024 season" who are playing in the All-American Bowl on Saturday.

Lightfoot was named as the Alpha Dog on Tuesday after recording three sacks. Plazz has fit in with the other more high-profile OL at the All-American Bowl per Andrew Ivins of 247 Sports. Carr is the highest-rated of a blue-chip group of signees in the 2024 Miami class.

Lightfoot and Scott who are both from Chicago are on the West team at the All-American Bowl. Carr, Patterson and Plazz who are all from Florida are playing on the East team. Plazz could matchup against Lightfoot and Scott in the All-American Bowl.

The All-American Bowl and Under Armour All-American Game, which was on Wednesday, launches many careers in college. Miami football signees Adarius Hayes, Ryan Mack, Booker Pickett Jr. and Joshisa Trader participated in the Under Armour All-American game.
