Lawrence North (Indianapolis) wide receiver Monshun Sales is now listed as a Five-Star Plus+ recruit in the On3/Rivals industry rankings, a designation On3/Rivals uses for the rare prospects who are graded as five-stars across the major services.

Sales comes in at 6-foot-5 and roughly 205 pounds, and On3/Rivals' industry rankings has him as the No. 1 wide receiver and the No. 6 overall player in the 2027 class. In its own rankings, On3/Rivals has Sales as the No. 9 prospect in the country, the No. 1 WR, and the No. 1 player in Indiana.

Sales has narrowed his options down to Alabama, Indiana, Miami and Ohio State. From his top 12 released back in October, Sales cut Ole Miss, Oregon, LSU, Texas A&M, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Missouri.

On the field, Sales totaled 32 receptions for 967 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior in 2025. On3/Rivals compares him to Brian Thomas Jr. at this stage in his development.

247Sports ranks Sales as the No. 1 WR, the No. 1 player in Indiana and the No. 5 player in the nation. ESPN slots him at No. 16 in the nation, No. 4 among WRs and No. 1 in Indiana.

Where Miami stands in the running for WR Monshun Sales

Miami is in good position being in the final four, and might just be able to earn a commitment when it's all said and done.

Ohio State has a rich recent history of developing NFL-caliber WRs, but Brian Hartline is now the head coach at USF. Alabama certainly doesn't fumble top WRs in its own right, but the production of WR Ryan Williams stalled in the last part of 2025. Compare that to the rise of Miami's Malachi Toney and the Hurricanes have a fairly compelling selling point.

Indiana will definitely be a team that is tough to argue against. With Sales being from Indiana, the home-state program that just won the national championship (and beat Miami in the CFP final), the Hoosiers presumably have a leg up on the competition. But, nothing is guaranteed in recruiting and Miami is in the top 4 for a reason.
