Miami will break out a full camouflage alternate uniform Saturday when it hosts Stanford in its annual Military Appreciation game at Hard Rock Stadium. The "Honor & Support" look — developed with adidas — was recently unveiled and will debut Oct. 25.

The jersey features a green MARPAT-style camouflage pattern with black, stenciled numerals and an American flag patch in the advancing position on the right sleeve. Miami will complete the set with a black helmet carrying a camo "U" logo outlined in white and a black facemask.
This is Miami's first camo-themed alternate in recent years, expanding a tradition of special-event uniforms that has included past Military Appreciation tributes. The school and adidas previously collaborated on one-offs such as the 2015 military set and other limited alternates.
Reaction to Miami's Camo Uniforms
The general reaction has been interesting. On one end, fans acknowledge the occasion and meaning of the uniforms. There is excitement around the Hurricanes trying something new. On the other end, many fans are questioning the execution of the look.
From a camo-jersey perspective, other schools have attempted it with mixed results. Some fans think Miami was able to pull off the look.

I don’t think Camo works on uniforms tbh
But I don’t hate these pic.twitter.com/Ct5x5RUJZq
Others arent exactly too thrilled with how it turned out, saying that so many schools have missed the mark with camo jerseys in recent years. It also doesn't help that the uniforms are similar to Florida's infamous swamp-green jerseys back in 2017.
These new Miami uniforms are a contender for ugliest uniform in College Football history.

When will teams learn that Camo is so tough to do well and is best in small doses. pic.twitter.com/xhKlKUZeAa
The uniforms were also an invitation for some to make jokes about the Hurricanes last game against Louisville. In their first loss of the 2025 season, QB Carson Beck had his worst game of the season, throwing four interceptions and 0 touchdowns.
