The second week of official visits are coming up for the Miami Hurricanes. It is an important time to make sure that current commits feel welcome and to give other recruits a lasting impression that could influence their decision.

Going into the second week of OV's, Miami's 2026 class currently sits at No. 8 in the nation and second in the ACC according to On3. Clemson just recently jumped Miami for the No. 7 spot. The Canes have 11 commits with eight of them being four-star prospects or higher.

The list of incoming recruits, with current commits in bold, goes as follows:

  • QB Dereon Coleman
  • WR Brayden Robinson
  • TE Heze Kent
  • OT Jackson Cantwell
  • OL Breck Kolojay
  • OL Joel Irvin
  • OL Canon Pickett
  • DL Freddie Wilson
  • DL James Johnson
  • DL Tyson Bacon
  • DE Bryce Perry-Wright
  • DE Kosi Okpala
  • LB Jordan Campbell
  • CB Jaelen Waters
  • CB Jontavius Wyman
  • S Devin Jackson
  • S Tyriq Green

Of the recruits coming in this weekend, six are already committed to Miami. Coleman, a four-star out of Orlando, hopes to be the QB of the future and Cantwell, who was named the MaxPreps Male National Athlete of the Year, was the consensus No. 1 player in the country when he committed to Miami.

Campbell was the first player to commit to the Hurricanes in the Class of 2026. He committed all the way back in November of 2023. Waters has flipped twice having been committed to Florida State and Florida before pledging to Miami in March.

Some notes on the other recruits coming to Coral Gables: Perry-Wright included Miami in his top four on Thursday, Wilson has reportedly felt like a top priority for Miami, and Robinson has Miami in his final four competing against Arizona, Notre Dame and Ohio State. Although recent reports indicate it is a three-team race with Miami being included.
