The Miami Hurricanes must approach the rest of the year one game at a time

The Canes will be the hunted.

Unlike last season, the Miami Hurricanes football program was expected to become one of College Football's playoff teams, entering the 2025 campaign. The offensive additions of Heisman hopeful, Carson Beck, Freshman standout, Malachi Toney, along with newcomer, C.J. Daniels have become instant sensations based on their recent performances. The trio have proven thus far, that their presence is undeniable, especially, when you factor how much each player has contributed heavily to the Canes balanced offense.

New Hurricane starting quarterback, Beck, has answered, thus far the question of whether he is the quarterback he was expected to become when he was initially under center for the Georgia Bulldogs. With the talented offense developing each week, the Miami Hurricanes must continue to improve each week; in order to blossom potentially into the program, they have the potential to become.

You know the saying, "Rome was not built in a day". Although, the Miami Hurricanes as a team have played exceptionally well these first two games of the young season, the Canes must continue to demonstrate, the one-game-at-a-time approach regarding every upcoming contest the Hurricanes will enter, until the Canes last game of 2025.

Once this weeks' game is complete, the Hurricanes will only have a brief time to savor a potential victory. Then, it's off to playing another storied NCAA college football program, the Florida Gators. The Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators were interstate rivals dating back to the days of former "U" alum, quarterback, Vinny Testaverde and former University of Florida teammates, Pro Hall of Fame running back, Emmitt Smith and quarterback, Kerwin Bell. Taking a one-game approach definitely helps a team focus on the details team members could improve upon for the following game.

Practicing with the one-game-at-a-time approach, also helps the team to not allow themselves to take any opponent for granted. These next three games for the Miami Hurricanes must be prepared with that specific one-game-at-a-time-approach mindset, in order for the Hurricanes to accomplish their long-term goal of earning their first Atlantic Coastal Conference downright title and maybe potentially participating on college football's "grand stage".
