In today's college football format, some programs that are in the College Football Playoff mix, have at least one defeat. There is hope that the No. 9 Miami Hurricanes could still emerge as one of the College Football Playoff participants. The Hurricanes are more than capable of winning their remaining games on the schedule.

The Atlantic Coastal Conference title game is still in the cards for the Canes. Last Saturday's loss was unfortunate, but the mindset of the Hurricanes must become that of a one-game-at-a-time approach. When it comes to the current state of college football, upsets are at times, inevitable. Going through a season undefeated is extremely difficult, especially, when one factors in how any team within the ACC conference, could defeat any program on any given Saturday, despite the opposing team's record or home campus advantage.

Bouncing back in the face of adversity is all that is needed for the Hurricanes to achieve and conquer the goals the program set, at the genesis of the season. With six games left in the college regular and ACC season, the Miami Hurricanes must not lose hope. The resume that the Hurricanes have built over the course of the season, has still allowed the program to remain in the top ten of college football programs in all the land.

After reaching the season's mid-way point, the last six games are definitely winnable, but these games will of course, not be easy. There are a few teams on the Canes schedule that have been historically difficult for the Miami Hurricanes. Although, the challenging task to run the table will be a test, as to whether the Canes have reached the elite plateau, ultimately, the program must continue to build upon the early success the program achieved before their first defeat.

There is still a great deal of college football left, and the Miami Hurricanes could still obtain their national championship title aspirations, by playing complementary football, commencing this upcoming weekend.
