Titans fans can't hide excitement about their new franchise quarterback

The Tennessee Titans have officially selected Miami QB Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft and the fanbase is excited. Ward goes from 0 stars coming out of high school to the top pick in the 2025 draft and the Titans faithful are having a field day sharing different memes and posts that fully encapsulate what it feels like to get a franchise quarterback.

Some Titans fans are reminiscing on the late former Titans' QB Steve McNair. McNair led Tennessee to their only Super Bowl appearance in franchise history. The Titans infamously lost to 'The Greatest Show on Turf Rams' on the final play of the game. McNair is 2nd all-time in passing yards for the Titans franchise.

The comparison to McNair did not stop with the fans. ESPN analyst and former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky watched the tape and confirm the similarities.

What better company can you keep than the Black Mamba? Fans shared an old childhood picture of Ward with the late NBA Hall of Famer and 5-time champion Kobe Bryant. Titans fans will hope that Bryant's clutch gene rubbed off on Ward.
