Tre Donaldson finished with 15 points, five rebounds, six assists and three steals in the Miami Heat's 95-85 win over the Golden State Warriors Gold on Monday in the California Classic at Chase Center.
Donaldson had one of Miami's best all-around performances as the Heat closed their California Classic schedule at 2-1 before heading to Las Vegas Summer League.
Tre Donaldson finds his groove in the NBA Summer League
Donaldson struggled in his first Summer League appearance with two points and three turnovers in 18 minutes, but then bounced back with 11 points, four rebounds and two assists in Sunday's 93-91 loss to the Lakers.
The Heat officially signed Donaldson to a two-way contract on July 3 after he went undrafted out of Miami.
Donaldson appeared in 35 games with 33 starts for the Hurricanes last season and averaged 16.4 points, a team-high 5.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 45.4% from the field and 35.9% from 3-point range.
The Heat open in Las Vegas on Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks, then continue with games against the Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors before their final matchup is determined.
