An earlier video on Instagram showed Perry riding in a car with a wad of cash. As a Redshirt Freshman near the end of his second season as a college football player Perry needs to grow up.

The starting quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes is as high profile as many NFL teams, in some instances even more so. Perry needs to make better decisions on and off the field and be one of the faces as the quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes football program.

A lot of Perry’s on-field struggles have been similar to Rosier’s. Perry has a bigger arm but they both struggle with accuracy. The Redshirt Freshman had completed just 51.3 percent of his passes this season.

Perry’s six of 24 in the regular season finale against Pittsburgh was greatly influenced by nine drops from the Miami receiving corps. The Hurricanes has approximately 40 drops by receivers this season.

Perry is 113th nationally averaging 108.9 passing yards per game, 107th with a 51.6 completion percentage and 97th in with a 118.47 passer rating. The Hurricanes were below 100 in virtually every passing category this season.

Perry was initially recruited by Miami while Al Golden was still coaching the Hurricanes. He eventually signed in February 2017 as a part of Richt’s second recruiting class.
