Things sure are starting to heat up for 5-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell. Not long ago, plenty of Miami Hurricanes fans were pretty excited when it was announced that Cantwell would be taking his second unofficial visit to Coral Gables to meet with the staff.
Fast forward to Wednesday and a date has been locked in. Cantwell took to social media to let everyone know that he'll be arriving to Miami on March 17 for a quick two-day trip. That's not all, as he'll then be taking unofficials to Michigan and Ohio State, respectively:

5-star OT Jackson Cantwell will take his Miami unofficial visit on March 17
The good news here for Cristobal is that he'll be getting the first unofficial of the spring from Cantwell, who is ranked the No. 1 OT in the country and No. 1 prospect overall. You already know the Canes are going to do everything possible to make sure the youngster has a memorable time on campus.
This won't be his first time visiting Miami, as he was previously in town in the fall. Following his March OV schedule, Cantwell will then be taking his officials not too long after. In addition to the three programs listed above, his other finalists are Oregon, Missouri and Georgia.
Things appear to be pretty wide open for the stud offensive lineman, with no school jumping out as a clear favorite. Recently, Cantwell told On3 that all of the schools have impressed him with their recruiting pitches and with what they have to offer.
In Miami's case, the Canes have done a tremendous job of landing highly-rated offensive lineman and developing them into studs. That's what the program is hoping to do with Cantwell as well, but Cristobal is facing serious competition for the OL's signature. We should find out soon when Cantwell will be taking his Miami official, but for now, people can surely get excited about his March 17-18 trip to meet with the Canes coaches and players.
