Former Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward has inked an endorsement deal with Under Armour. This partnership marks Under Armour's first association with a potential No. 1 overall NFL Draft pick since Cam Newton in 2011.

Ward had a memorable season with the Hurricanes, throwing for 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns, earning accolades such as ACC Offensive Player of the Year and receiving a consensus All-American selection. He was also a Heisman finalist and the winner of both the Davey O'Brien and Manning Awards.
At Incarnate Ward, before attending Washington State and Miami, Ward won the 2020 Jerry Rice Award. Many projections place him as the first overall pick to the Tennessee Titans. After a successful Pro Day it seems like a forgone conclusion that Ward will be the first player selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Under Armour's decision to sign Ward represents the brand's commitment to supporting elite football talent. Sean Eggert, SVP of Global Sports Marketing at Under Armour, stated, "Signing this class of elite players is more than a milestone, it's a statement of who we are and where we're going. These athletes are pushing the game forward in every sense, and we’re all-in on helping them reach the next level — with the best athlete and product innovation, and a brand that believes in their rise."
Ward expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, noting, "Joining Under Armour is more than just a sponsorship deal. It's a partnership. I'm grateful to become part of the UA team. I grew up watching my favorite players wear Under Armour, rocking cleats and gloves that elevate their game. To be part of the brand’s new era feels very full circle and I hope I can inspire the next generation of kids watching.”
Other draft class members that joined Ward in signing with Under Armour include WR Luther Burden III from the University of Missouri, OL Tyler Booker from the University of Alabama, WR Matthew Golden from the University of Texas, and S Nick Emmanwori from the University of South Carolina.
