Cam Ward threw the ball well and had a great workout with the Titans, per long time ESPN AFC South and Tennessee reporter Paul Kuharsky. The workout with Ward occurred on Friday in Miami in front of Tennessee coaches Brian Callahan, Nick Holz and Bo Hardigree, according to Kuharsky.
Kuharsky also reported Tennessee executives Chad Brinker, Mike Borgonzi, Reggie McKenzie and Dave Ziegler were in attendance at the private workout with Ward. Miami wide receivers Xavier Restrepo and Jacolby George and tight end Elijah Arroyo also participated in the workout per Kuharsky.
Kuharsky reported that there was not a lot of running with Arroyo not doing so at all. The pre and post workout conversations may have lasted about an hour according to Kuharsky. The private workout gave the Tennessee coaches and executives a chance to interact with and watch Ward throw without other teams around.
Tennessee does not seem to be currently locked into Ward. Kuharsky reported that Tennessee will have representatives at Colorado's Pro Day on April 4 and will conduct a private workout with Buffaloes' quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, on April 9. The first round of the NFL Draft is on April 24.
Draw all the conclusions you like about the #Titans and Cam Ward. The truth is there is just not enough in evidence to know.

"Indications are the Titans thought Ward threw the ball well and did great....The Titans interacted with him on a level they had not before. I don't know how long they were on the field together but indications are the team felt like things went great."Tennessee Titans writer Paul Kuharsky
Earlier this month Kuharsky reported NFL Personnel expect Ward to be selected first overall by Tennessee. There have been multiple reports Tennessee was considering Penn State defensive tackle Abdul Carter with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier this week it would take a bigger package than previously stated for Tennessee to trade the first overall pick. Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reported it could take three first-round picks for Tennessee to trade the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
With less than four weeks left until the first round of the NFL Draft, the information about Ward will continue to evolve. Tennessee has probably not made its final decision about what it will do on draft day and the Titans seem to be open to listening to trade offers.
