So, what's the deal Indiana Hoosier fans? Somehow, a dream season that no one could've predicted wasn't enough. Some of you actually went to the NFL Combine to heckle Carson Beck and the people that did that need to find something better to do with their free time.
Beck was boo'ed repeatedly while he was going through the combine and the jeers were really audible while he was throwing the ball. It was a sad day for anyone that would even bother to go to the combine, much less do it for the purpose of booing a player.
What's with the booing? Beck didn't say anything negative about the Hoosiers before or after championship game or about Notre Dame https://t.co/rvGW6SGQt3

Carson Beck hears the boos at the NFL Combine
Through no fault of his own, Beck has become a villain to many. Georgia fans were constantly rooting against him for no good reason other than he gave everything he had for a program that didn't have a consistent running game or a No. 1 receiver to the point of where he blew out his elbow.
The Bulldogs decided to move on with Gunner Stockton and Beck signed a pretty hefty NIL deal with Miami. Beck did what many young men do when they have life-changing money. He got some nice cars, and he made some headlines with his relationship. None of that is illegal. He wasn't involved in any shady activity, and he wasn't out violating every traffic law known to man unlike his former teammates.
But at least there was some history there with Beck and Georgia. Bulldogs fans had to watch Beck win the playoff games their team hasn't in three years. Where Stockton failed against Ole Miss, Beck succeeded. That had to sting. But what was the deal with Indiana fans? You won the game. You won the championship. Why boo Carson Beck when he's simply trying to fulfill a dream of playing in the NFL?
The good news is that Beck didn't let the boo birds bother him, and he threw the ball pretty well in the passing drill segment of the combine. Whether that's enough for Beck to be selected in the top 125 players remains to be seen, but if there were any questions about whether Hoosier fans could handle success with any shred of class, they are being answered.
