Carson Beck completed 27 passes in 32 attempts for 320 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions as Miami won 34-17 at Virginia Tech on Saturday. As a result of his performance at Virginia Tech, Beck is 18th in the CBS Sports "College Football QB Power Rankings."

Beck earned ACC QB of the week and was named by Pro Football Focus to their Week 13 All-Conference team. Miami has played far more consistently offensively with the turnaround by Beck in the past three games.
Miami has 999 total yards in its last two games and has generated at least 400 in four of its last five games. Beck completed his first 11 passes to set a Miami record of 24 consecutive that began with completions in his last 13 attempts against North Carolina State on November 15.
Beck has 91 consecutive pass attempts in the past three games without throwing an interception. The improvement from Beck has allowed him to continue moving up the CBS Sports rankings after being 36th last week. Beck leads the ACC and is second nationally, completing 74.3 percent of his pass attempts in 2025.

Beck has completed over 75% of his passes with eight touchdowns and no interceptions over Miami's three-game winning streak as the Hurricanes have clawed their way back into playoff consideration. Beck is making his case to be the first-team All-ACC QB. In addition to leading the ACC in completion percentage, Beck is also first with a 164.16 passer rating, third, averaging 255.0 passing yards per game and with 22 TD passes.
The three-game Miami winning streak came after losses to Louisville and SMU in a three game stretch.
